I had small paperclips lying around on my desk, which never found a place for themselves and often spilled onto the floor. So I decided to sew a small original box for storing paperclips.
Here, you will find a video tutorial and the dimensions for sewing a box at home. Now I have several boxes, and my paperclips and other small items lie neatly in them on the desk.
Cutting out pattern pieces
Here you can find all pattern pieces and their dimensions. All dimensions are shown with sewing allowances. Use a 0,5 cm seam allowance for all seams unless otherwise specified.

Steps for sewing the small basket
When all the pattern pieces are cut out and ready, follow the steps below to sew them together.
Step 1. Mark the corners of both fabrics with 5 cm perpendicular lines and cut them out as shown in the picture. Place both fabrics together and sew where you see the red dotted line in picture 3. The yellow line marks a gap of about 3 cm through which we will turn the box.

Step 2. Join the seams together at the cut corners and sew the entire gap. Sew all four corners like this. Then turn the box out through the 3 cm gap left. Sew the top, sides, and bottom edges of the box with finishing thread.

You can adjust the dimensions of the box to suit your specific needs. I used denim fabric on the outside and cotton fabric on the inside. I put synthetic hardening between the fabrics, which gives the box a stable shape.
If you sew several boxes in different colors, it will beautifully decorate your table. Good luck.
Video tutorial
Before the little denim box appeared, the table looked like a small chaos zone. Coins were rolling around like they owned the whole place, paper clips were wandering around on adventures, headphones were tangled like spaghetti and small items were scattered everywhere.
Then the little denim box appeared cool, sturdy and stylish, like your favorite jeans. Suddenly everything found its place.
Plus, because it’s denim, it adds a bit of casual, cozy style to your table and the interior of the room. So, this little denim box not only holds things, but also turns the chaos of the table into a neat little system.
