Together we will sew a cheerful New Year’s garland, which consists of colorful felt triangles, beautifully “stacked” on top of each other and turning into cute Christmas trees. A simple idea, and the result is wow!
The lesson is as easy as a winter snowflake and is perfect even for those who are just getting acquainted with knitting.

Materials
To make these nice six New Year festoon decorations, you will need :
- Polyester felt in four colors ( about 30 cm x 20-15 cm for one color )
- Linen string
- Colors sewing thread No. 120

Cutting out pattern pieces
Here are all the pattern pieces and their dimensions. We need six green triangle pieces, six yellow triangle pieces, six red triangle pieces, and six blue triangle pieces. You can choose the haw many triangles and which colors you want to have.

Steps for sewing the New Year festoon
Step 1. Cut out six triangles in each color.

Step 2. Stack the parts on top of each other, in order from largest to smallest. Sew one after another in turn.

Step 3. Finally, cut out a small circle and sew it on top. Cut a small hole in the circle so that you can string the decoration on the strings.

You can hang Christmas tree toys or candy between the string decorations. This garland can be hung above a window, on a Christmas tree, or directly on a wall.

Sewing will be fast, fun, and stress-free, and the garland will not only decorate your home but will also lift your mood every time you look at it.
Let’s sew the holidays ourselves – it’s so much more fun!
