This is a cute image of our well-known character Pikachu on a pillow. Both large and small Pikachu details are cut out of polyester felt. Therefore, they are easy to sew onto any fabric. This image will look beautiful sewn not only on a pillow, but also on a jacket, backpack, or T-shirt.
Below you will find a tutorial video and a photo with the dimensions of the Pikachu image. It’s very easy and simple to sew yourself.
Here are the dimensions of the head and body. Cut out the small details roughly according to the picture. You can also use other shades to achieve body shadows; they must be slightly darker than the base color.
Sewing the Pikachu pillow
When you have all the pattern pieces cut out and ready, follow the steps below to sew them together.
Step 1. After cutting out all the details, first sew the shadow onto the arms, legs, tail, and body. Sew on the eyes, cheeks, nose, and mouth.
Step 2. Sew the mouth with black thread so that the outlines are clearly visible. Stretch the thread from the corners of the lips to the sides to create a Pikachu smile. Using the same black thread, sew three nails on each hand and foot, as shown in the picture below.
Step 3. Now, combine the cotton fabric with soft polyester padding. We sew one of the amazing Pokémon characters, Pikachu, on it. The polyester padding lifts the Pikachu off the fabric, making it look nicer.
Step 4. Once Pikachu is sewn on, we connect both ends of the fabric with a zipper. Then turn it inside out and sew the sides of the pillow as shown in the picture with the green line.
Step 5. All you have to do is turn the cover over and put it over the pillow.
Now you have a beautiful sofa cushion for your living room. A pillow with this character is very popular with children.
