This is a tutorial for kitchen gloves. Here, I used cotton fabrics in various colors and patterns. 2 cm of soft sintepon is placed between the fabrics, which is necessary to protect hands from hot surfaces in the kitchen and maintain acceptable softness and convenience.

Materials
To make these beautiful and comfortable heat-resistant kitchen gloves, you will need:
- Sintepon soft 2 cm thick
- 5-color cotton fabrics
- Light gray, black, and red threads no. 120

Cutting out pattern pieces
Here are all the pattern pieces and their dimensions. All dimensions are shown with sewing allowances. If not indicated otherwise, use a 1 cm seam allowance for all seams.
The photo below shows the numbered pieces of the pattern. The numbers correspond to the cut-out pieces in the following images. In total, you will cut out seven different shapes.

The detail marked No. 1 cut 2 pcs from light gray cotton, 2 pcs from dark blue variegated cotton, and 4 pcs from red.
The detail marked No. 2 cut 4 pcs from the red cotton.
The detail marked No. 3 cut 2 pcs from the light gray cotton and 2 pcs from the dark blue variegated cotton.
The detail marked No. 4 cut 4 pcs from the gray striped cotton.
The detail marked No. 5 cut 4 pcs from the dark blue cotton.
The detail marked No. 6 cut 4 pcs from the red cotton.
The detail marked No. 7 cut 2 pcs from the dark blue cotton.

Steps for sewing the heat-resistant kitchen gloves
When all the pattern pieces are cut out and ready, follow the steps below to sew them together.
Step 1. Connect all the strips as shown in the first picture. There will be four wide strips in total. Then, to put them on the main four details (No. 1) and sew them, as shown by the red dotted line in the second picture.

Step 2. Sew all four pieces (No. 1) to the sintepon. Sew close to the edge as shown by the red dotted line and trim off the excess sintepon.
In the second picture, we see that the main part connected to the side panel needs to be sewn with the red part (No. 1). Sew all four main parts in this way. The red cotton will be the inside of the gloves.

Step 3. Now use light gray thread on top and red on the bottom. Each strip is sewn as shown in the picture, and the other main details are embroidered with crossed and striped lines (yellow dotted lines). The result is very visible on the red cotton details.

Step 4. From red cotton, sew two strips, fold them in half, and sew one to each edge of the main details. This loop will be used to hang the glove, and you can choose its length and width as you like.
Now hem this edge with red cotton ribbon (dimensions no. 6). Place the two halves of the different patterns together and sew the edges, leaving a space for your hand to sew.

Step 5. Cut diagonal strips from dark blue cotton (dimensions No. 7). You will need two 65 cm long strips to hem the edges of the glove.

Our gloves are finished sewing. Once they are on our hands, we can safely take a hot pan or pot.
